Seconds vs milliseconds
Values around 1.7e9 are usually seconds. Values around 1.7e12 are usually milliseconds (JS Date.now()). Spoold detects both so you can convert a unix timestamp to UTC without guessing the scale.
| Input | Likely unit | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 1710000000 | Seconds | ~2024-03-09 UTC |
| 1710000000000 | Milliseconds | Same instant as above, JS style |
When you need an epoch converter

Cron next-run sanity

How to convert
- Open /tools/time/convert.
- Paste an epoch (sample loads by default) or a date.
- Read UTC, local, and ISO outputs; pick a zone when comparing regions.
- Copy the format you need for docs, SQL, or API payloads.
Tip: DST and IANA zones
“Local” follows the browser. For support across offices, pick an IANA zone (e.g. America/New_York) instead of assuming everyone is on UTC.
